Happy Birthday's and Great Laughs :)

This is Emma's 2nd birthday party with her cousin Clara. They are very, very adorable little girls! It was fun to see them open gifts. Emma only wanted Clara's.. ha

Meet Theron.. One of my very adorable, highly energetic nephews. Today, he was our free entertainment at my moms house. We were there for dinner and after he just got this idea of being a rock star. He is very much a boy. Before this, we were playing baseball... but with an imaginary baseball because we were in the house. He would run and slide and get all pumped up. It was very very fun.

(Sorry, I cut off the camera right in mid stage dive.. My bad..)

Changing...

People who know me:

  1. Know I'm definitely a T-shirt and jeans kind of girl.

  2. Know that I love to hang out with friends... all the time.

  3. Know I don't really like school and never have.

  4. Know I don't want kids for a very long time!

I've been thinking about people who've known me my whole life and what they know about me. All these things are... well... were true. It's funny how things can change..

Now I know:

  1. I'm still definitely a jeans and T-shirt girl. (That I don't think will ever change)

  2. I do love to hang out with friends still, but it doesn't kill me to stay home. I actually enjoy it better. I love to spend time with Paul and get to know him even more each day. It's funny how much we don't know about each other and yet we've known each other for so long!

  3. I still don't like school very much, but I'm excited to start up this semester in a week and a half. I really want to be done with it... But the best/worst (depending on how you look at it) part is, now I live with my biggest distraction :)

  4. Kids... NO! ...Right? Well... not so much anymore. I do get very baby hungry on Sundays and sometimes throughout the week. Still no plan for kids for the next year at least, but it's crazy how it's okay now. Really, I used to be so against having kids. Now, mom: this doesn't mean I will have as many as you want! .. I'm not a factory!

I used to hate change.. But Now I love it. I can't wait to grow and explore and see and do with my (our) lives. It's so exciting to be able to decided on when we're going to go on vacation, or, weird as it is, how many kids we will have (dun dun dunnn). And it's all very scary. We're still learning how to lean on each other and not so much on our families. We're still trying to figure out this whole married thing. At times it's tough and weird but... it's okay.
I love life. I love standing on my own to feet with my husband hand in hand with me. And I love, absolutely love, being married for time and all eternity.

Weddings and Yankees

There have been a few things going on...

Yesterday we went to Paul's parents house. On the way down there, we busted out the Josh Groban cd. Oh dang. It was hilarious. Paul was belting it out. I couldn't stop laughing at times. Goofy kid...

Chelsea and Dan got married on Saturday! It was a lot of fun to go to that. I love going to weddings in the temple. It's super special.

It was great to be with the Johnson's all day and to see people from down south at the reception.

Paul text messages me last Thursday and says "Hey, we're going to the Ranger-Yankee game tonight with your mom and sister"... uhh? I thought I was the one connected to my side of the family.. Sheesh! ;) It was a lot of fun though.

It was a fun weekend. Next weekend is going to be great too. We're celebrating Mom and Kurt's birthday! I'm pretty excited.

Dentist anyone?

This morning I went to the dentist at 7:30. I thought for sure I had a million cavities and the dentist would say "Lets just pull them all and do dentures!!" I planned on getting a couple teeth filled and then go back to get the rest done. When the dentist got in there he said I had one cavity. ONE? Seriously.. I thought I had 5. But I do have to get a root canal on a tooth and my wisdom teeth out and he said I'd be a good candidate for braces.
You usually get your wisdom teeth out and braces before you graduate high school. I'm a little late on some things.
Oh well.
Paul's quitting his job to go work at P&J Co. That's why I'm getting all the work done and using insurance I've never gotten to use.

Tonight is Chelsea Johnson's wedding shower. I'm sure that'll be fun! She's getting married on Saturday!

Old folk.

Yesterday I had one of the worst migraines I've ever had. I couldn't believe how painful it was. I just wanted to go to sleep, so while Paul and I were watching "Live Free or Die Hard", I did just that... tried to sleep. I finally fell asleep it was about 6/7 and Paul fell asleep right next to me. I woke up at midnight and panicked, because we were supposed to go to the store to get some chicken for dinner tonight. So I got Paul up and we ran to walmart. It was a really fun shopping trip because Paul was super tired and just wanted to go back to bed.
They had a stake meeting for all the priesthood at 7am this morning and he wasn't looking forward to waking up that early.
Oh well, that was our adventure last night. We were about a 90 year old, married couple who falls asleep during a movie at 7pm and doesn't wake up till morning. I told Paul we ought to just buy us some rocking chairs and make it official.

This morning, this is my task... It's all clean, just needs to be folded... boo...

Hairy-Scary

(No, this isn't me.. just a poor girl on the Internet)
So I went and got my eye brows waxed yesterday for the first time since Paul and I have been married. It felt wonderful!! When I got back into the chair the lady said after about 30 minutes of staring.. "Oh WOW! Lot hair, Lot hair!" I said "Gee, thanks.. Lets get started, shall we?"
Embarrassing? Yes!
Refreshing? Yes!
I knew they were getting bad when Paul said "How much is it to get your eye brows done again?"
Ih, it'll probably be the same way next month too. :D
